Plastic Behives on discovery this last few days
« on: December 16, 2017, 04:59:06 pm »
Had anybody seen the latest made in Turkey twin walled plastic Beehives on discovery these last few days ? They are suppose to give  25%more honey & best of all a way of controlling varroa using pollen traps to estimate the infestation .  Then heavily dusting the whole hive , frame by frame with pure icing sugar . The bees then clean each other of the icing sugar and also pick off the varroa dropping them to the hive floor where they'll  die .

I liked the supportive comb frames also made in plastic .... everythign points to this being he way forward for beekeepers once they swallow the cost of a complete hive c/w frames .

Even better is that all the parts are precision interlocking parts so no more odd sized bits that don't quite work well in you multitude of slightly different hives .
It seems the hives come with a pollen trap  a sliding door type bee block to restrict entry  & queen excluder's , all in smooth food grade plastic .

Check it out on this site   apimaye.co.uk       Dare we ask for a price ?
