Hi from Cheshire
« on: July 24, 2010, 02:35:49 pm »
Hello all, we're in south Cheshire, only have less than an acre at present keeping chucks for eggs and 2 saddlebacks for meat. Planning on renting 2 to 3 acre field close by and building a polytunnel from scratch in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Love the site good info and you all appear a friendly bunch. John

hello and welcome. good luck putting up the poly tunnel. we always seem to wait for a really windy day to do the polythene bit, then it's more fun!

Pointy, well if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room! Will look out for you flying over us clinging on to a large peice of plastic!

Hello from Aberdeenshire, I originate from Cheshire!

Good Luck with the poly, we put ours up on a calm day (quite rare on our hill) then waited for the wind to see how well we had done!  Its still standing and we've had some gales up here!
