STRAW WANTED - ABERDEEN AREA

Hi all
Am looking for straw - preferably small bales for pigs in Aberdeen area (am at Westhill).
Anyone selling any or know of a supplier at reasonable cost?

Straw is rare and expensive.  Try looking on Sell my stock or equestrian suppliers.  Problems are going to be the quality and cost.

Best advertise locally. You'll pay over 100/tonne through any dealers now. There will be some small suppliers like me (but I'm in Yorkshire!) who have some left in their barns, but not enough to make up a wagon load.


Or failing that - get yourself a big trailer, book yourself in at a bed and breakfast, and come and get some from sunny Yorkshire. :sunshine:

I know of two people doing small bales but one is near Banff and the other is Llanbryde.
