Hi from the Peaks
« on: July 20, 2010, 01:19:46 pm »
Hello there, we have a small holding in the peak district of 10 acres split site.  We have a variety of stock, rare breed pigs, rare breed and everyday goats, rare breed and run of the mill poultry, and horses.

We were recommended to this site as being a friendly and helpful place, and so here we are, hoping to gain more knowledge and share the bit of what we have  ;D

Hello & welcome from Lanarkshire, in Scotland.

We just keep sheep & chickens, much less varied than you!  You should find information & help for all your stock on this site,

Best Wishes,

John

Forgot to ask, what breed rare breed pigs?  :pig:

British lops - unfortuantley only cross to gos or mang's at teh mo - we hope to breed true eventually but we also have pedigree OSB.

We keep kune kunes both for pets and meat pigs - fabulous meat pigs and we have pot bellies
