If any of you come near Heathrow, you can pick up hundreds of overripe bananas from the back of Western International. We mash them and put them in the freezer, had over 400 last time. Have had hundred of freshly cut cucumbers from a grower nearby, too, a nice refreshing snack in the hot weather.

My pigs have munched their way through around 1000 bananas this summer alone :P They get all the food they need in pellets and then lots of raw fruit and veg on top. They like raw potatoes but only fresh ones, not the old wrinkly ones of which I have a couple of hundred kilo's. Used to cook the potatoes when the piggies were little, but the volume's way too much, now.

I don't dare give them cherries or any stone fruit in case they choke, am I being paranoid?
Though I think one of them nibbles on small stones, by the sounds of it.

Ours love mangoes, in fact one of HIlary's favourite foods is the fruit salad the factory packs.  She is also very keen on vegetable curry, although the venting of the resulting gas is to be avoided.
