Come on folks, admit it - chickens are thick  ;D. Huge personalities, and I love ours to bits, but they're definitely not the sharpest tools in the box at times!  :dunce:

The most interesting thing for me was watching the hens' to the harris hawk. Ours are totally oblivious to buzzards directly overhead, but go absolutely mental if you flap a feed bag!

thought this was a good program, yesterday one of my hens took of running with a sparrow that the cat had just killed. By the time I caught up with her she had eaten most of the little bird and I was quite shocked at the speed she had done this never ming taking it from the cat in the first place  :o :chook:

I was very impressed at the experiment with the mealworms in boxes.  Where would I get some mealworms ??? - I'd like to try it with mine. ;D

Annie you can get live mealworms from RSPB website and can even start to harvest your own.  :)
