Floor sealing
« on: November 01, 2017, 01:09:22 pm »
So I’m converting part of a workshop building into an indoor chicken run (with outdoor access) in readiness for winter weather and a possible repeat of the avian flu restrictions.

The floor is concrete but quite dusty. I wondered about sealing or painting it so that it is more easily cleaned and less dusty but am not sure what products may be suitable for livestock use as opposed to standard stuff like garage floor paint.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've not sealed a chicken run concrete floor but I've painted others with floor paint and not found it particularly durable.

Much appreciated [member=27063]Marches Farmer[/member] I might just give it a good hose out and see how it goes then.
