Mole control. Help needed!
« on: October 22, 2017, 06:40:16 pm »
Hello all,

Now I'm not one to kill without provacation, but the decimation of my lawn is driving me nuts.  The vegetable patches are only yards away and I fear for my chard crop.   I've invested in those repellent electronic sticks that you poke in the ground and the vibrations are meant to disuade the blighters but with no success.  In a fit of frustration I have purchased killing traps but from under orders from the S.O. I have to try something else first.  But I am at a loss.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi there,
Are you sure it’s moles?

We usually only see these in spring and early sumner when they are searching for a mate. At this time of year the new “mole” hills are generally rat runs.
