charollais x jacob?
« on: October 22, 2017, 12:32:01 pm »
we have a charollais tup coming to our small flock at the weekend. there are some Jacobs for sale locally and was wondering whether to buy them and also put them to the charollais tup? does anyone have any experience with this cross and would the ewe lambs be worth retaining in the flock.
Cheers

Friend has quite a few , says they are good ewes , look more like charollais than Jacobs .  Jacobs very maternal with a thick fleece , charollais  fast growing , tight coat .
