Hi.  Just registered with what looks like a great site.  My family at the moment consists of 3 RSPCA rescue goats, 3 Ryeland ewes, 1 Ryeland ram, 3 lambs, 10 chickens (inc. 4 ex-battery), 1 guinea fowl (started off with 5), 1 rescue dog and 2 rescue cats.  :goat:

I don't milk the goats.  George is a very old boy and the girls, Lola and Fleur, are also just pets.

Hi and welcome from the Scottish Borders. I hatched out some guinea fowl in the incubator and as soon as they were old enough they flew away

Hi Anne,

They are a bit stupid.  When we first let ours out they slept on the ground and of course next morning we had one less.  They did learn though and perched in a tree the next night.  But we are down to one now and hope to get more soon.  The others (3) disappeared without a trace, although we know a couple went to live on the farm next door but they have gone from there too.
