The community where I live in North Cornwall is pitching for money from the M&S Energy Fund.  If we come first in our region, we could win £10,000 which would fund batteries so that we can make more use of the energy generated by our solar panels.

The competition has four days to run, and we and another project have been neck and neck for some days!

If anyone felt like voting for us, we would be hugely grateful.  It takes only a few moments.  You can log in with Facebook or with a valid email address.

And if you felt like sharing that link across your own social networks, that would be truly awesome :)

Thank you so much to everyone who voted and shared.  We believe it was very close indeed, so every single vote counted.

We won and our Powerwall batteries are now installed and running!

We've actually had some sun  :sunshine: today, so maybe they'll get a bit of use!
