Chickens Stopped Laying
« on: September 15, 2017, 09:08:10 am »
All of my chickens seem to have stopped laying.
I have 5 bantams and 2 hybrids, the bantams live with a cockerel and the hybrids live alone.
They have always been a bit sporadic with laying, but they seem to have completely stopped.
Could it be anything that I'm doing?
Thanks, Alex.

Are they mounting? If so they will stop laying

Days are pulling in quick now which will slow them down. Mine started to tail off in August and now pretty much stopped, all are in the middle of moulting, probably won't come back into lay until February.
