Hiya

Just wondered what everyone uses as a tick treatment?  We have a border collie who seems to pick up the nasty little things virtually every day.  Have been using a spot on solution but he still manages to find the critters somewhere when out and about.

Thanks.

Mixed neem oil ( can get on internet) with dog shampoo, use it on our four dogs and our goats. The dogs only get the occasional tick now. We have a lot of bracken and gorse so a lot of potential for ticks.

Simparica tablets given monthly. Or Bravecto tablets given every 3 months, never found a tick on them since using either of these 2 treatments.

Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
