How does your garden grow...?
« on: September 02, 2017, 02:57:59 pm »
I have a spare patch in the veg plot and thought I would grow some fodder for the girls! What do you guys grow for your goats?  I have been reading and see that comfrey is popular although some evidence suggests may be a carcinogen? Whatever I grow will be a supplement to their daily intake and not a sole food source.

So... any ideas?

Kale, peas and tares are the main ones that I grew for my goats.

My ones don't touch Comfrey. I planted some fast growing willow for them.
Growing loads of fruits and vegetables! Raising dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits on 1/2 acre in the middle of the city of Leicester, using permaculture methods.
