When I came down to Pembrokeshire a couple of years ago I bought a pair of pullets from Ceri.  They were very nice birds and won me some prizes. In fact I think they are the birds in her avatar as I bought them at Haverfordwest poultry sale. I don't know if she sells hatching eggs but it is worth a try.

I have only one hen still laying - the rest are starting to moult.  Fertility over three hatching batches this year has been excellent and I may have some growers later in the Summer if you can't find eggs.  Haven't sexed the chicks yet, though.

Lad i know has sold up his stock but there are some chicks advertised on preloved in Hereford. £5 each

Two hatched. Four seemed infertile

Two chicks doing fine and look very good.

I find fertility tends to decline as the season progresses, especially from August onwards when a degree of moult sets in.
