I've been beavering away today with produce. Early Summer Jam with raspberries, gooseberries and blackcurrants made. I'm not sure if I can show it though, as I had only 12oz jars and I think they might need to be 1 lb.
I have all the veg chopped and salting overnight, to make piccalilli in the morning. Again I don't know if that will fit in with show classes
. I had never made piccalilli until last year, but my version was brilliant (I'm not usually so smug, honest
) and is now a firm family favourite. I noticed no-one else helped with the chopping
but there's a queue to eat it
