Wotcha from a boater :)

Wotcha from me :)

I live on an old wooden narrowboat in Northamptonshire,  & we grow plants 'n' stuff in pots on the butty, in the veg plot of our mooring and, now we're starting to get the hang of not killing everything, we're clearing some of the land our ponies live on (using said ponies to do it) to expand out.

We're particularly skilled at growing more potatoes then should be possible out of a bucket, and pumpkins that go crazy and attack all the other veg before being seperated with laundry baskets   :excited:

Looking forward to picking everyones brains to get more success in the veg department  :farmer:

Hi. Welcome. I lived happily in Northants for 30 years before escaping to Wales. I see from your blog that you are in a great location, probably the heart of midland boating,  and I have often walked around the basin and the area around your village. I shall watch your posts with great interest.

Now there's something different  :garden: :thumbsup: .  We love photos on TAS so how about posting some of your boat garden?  It all sounds very romantic.......
