new layout for showfield - Doune and Dunblane
« on: June 28, 2017, 01:57:58 pm »
As the title says .....
there is a totally new layout for the show field this year.
The horses are being moved into the main show field and everything else is being moved about a bit.
I am sure there will be quite a few comments at the end of the day but bear with us it as it will be tweaked as required for next year.

Also new for this year......
if you are exhibiting livestock then you will not be sent out any passes or numbers.  You will be waved into the show field when you arrive at the livestock entrance (That's the theory as I understand it!).  Your section stewards will have your numbers.  Any late entries booked in at secretary's tent as usual.

Taken from the show Facebook page :
Entries for the Catalogue have now CLOSED but we don't stop there, you can still enter and here's how:
HORSES ONLY can enter on the day as a late entry.
LIVESTOCK/VINTAGE/GOATS/CROOKS can enter now and on show day as late entries but to quicken the paperwork process, please try to enter before show day if you can.
If you are entering LIVESTOCK, horses etc then you will get 2 people admitted with your entry ( usually the rider and helper or farmer and helper) and then you pay for everyone after that.

Please note that exhibitors numbers will not be sent out this year again instead you can either pick them up from the chief stewards or Secretary tents when registering your animals or vehicles. EACH ENTRY ALLOWS ENTRY FOR 2 PEOPLE ONLY. Show field set up is this week as soon as we know what's going where we will post the new plans and keep you all up to date. See you Saturday.
