Feeding 2 year old ewes

when is the best time to wean ewes off sugar beet.  We only have one acre of land and 5 ewes, so have been supplementing their feed throughout winter.

Not sure what you are asking , if its when to stop feeding then when the grass is long enough so that if it was a lawn you would cut it  , 5 on 1ac seems a lot

If your grass is growing away well I suggest reducing the amount of beet by 10% every day until they're wholly on grass.  You may well have to supplement the grass with hay from mid Summer.
