Taking sheep to show

May I ask advice please? I have one ryeland yearling ewe which is really quite well put together. I thought I would try to show her for fun. Have never shown sheep before.
Is it fair to take her in trailer on her own? My other sheep really not up to showing. Have halter trained her, do I wash and trim her? She is a coloured Ryeland. Thank you

I'm interested to see replies as I'm hoping to get in to showing a couple just for a bit of fun but I haven't a clue about it :)
