I would try and leave it til the other one is well on its way out, then if it is a bit squished and it is dry, move it to the brooder. Better still try and wait til it has a brother or sister to go in the brooder with, the noises of the hatchling will encourage the others to get a move on though!
How many did you get in the end?
I want goose eggs for next year, I am quite addicted to this hatching lark!
