Hi,

We are new to pigs and have 2 KuneKune Sows (7months now; had them from weaning) and a KuneKune boar (8months). All pets and to breed from NOT to eat! Anyway, one of the girls is limping on her front leg for a couple of days and we were wondering if we should do anything. We don't know how she as hurt it, although they are free to roam around the paddock and do run after us if they think we might give them food!! So, she could have hurt it running... Any advice gratefully received!

thanks,

Lara and Alex

Hae you checked the foot and leg for cuts and swelling?  If it continues it would be best to get veterinary advice .  It may be that she has an abscess in her foot?
