Hi, new to the site here but I have an elderly goat in poor condition with lice infestation. Can you recommend something I can use? Vet being very unhelpful.

I understand that people go to their country stores etc and ask for lice treatment for their dogs. So I understand

Cooper's Spot-on, same dose as for sheep. Repeat three weeks later to catch any that hatched in-between. available in Agri Merchants, now generic. Don't say it's for goats, but for sheep. Not licensed for goats.

Hi there, I use Eprinex but as it's not licensed for goats you need to get your vet to write a prescription for it, I then bought it online. Even the smallest bottle will last me years but it's very effective.  ;D

We use Spot-on for our sheep but it does say not to be used for milking sheep (for human consumption) so bit flummoxed really.
