Hi Darren,
Welcome to the forum, I'm a newbie here as well having just taken on a small holding at a mere 1200' between Brecon and Builth.
No livestock yet but will be interested to hearing how you get on up above the clouds!
Cheers,
Jerry

Hello Darren... my partner and I (also called Darren!) are looking at properties in Carmarthenshire currently.  So we could be (almost) neighbours soon.  We also have kept chooks for years in our town garden in Bristol, but looking forward to taking the plunge and going propertly rural.  I am itching to get going now!  No doubt will bump into you on here soon! :)
