Not a silly question, and you can ask as many as you wish

Re the dry stone walls, it depends on how high they are - but in my experience, sheep netting with plain wire on top, inside the wall would be the best idea. If there is plenty of grazing, they would not bother to escape. We have dry stone walls, but the goats are able to wander over about 12 acres. These two girls seem happy to graze on all that, but the castrated males do like to wander.
As to friendly, well, they are out as a herd, so no, I do not pet them or anything. Used to dogs, we have no kids here, so do not know about how they are with children, but they are certainly not aggressive, more timid if anything. They do have big horns, but curved back. I have never seen them attack the other goats with them. Tend to keep themselves to themselves. Will come to call with the others at night, without any problem. Certainly not as friendly as the Franks!!
Will try and get a piccie for you. They are big thick set girls, and although they look like British Alpine, they do have ears which I suspect is the Anglo Nubian in them too
Can you PM me your email please and will try and send pic
