Hi, has anyone used Harkamectin on their hens? I have just put some on my Welsummer Cockerel as his feet are very red and possibly swollen and almost look like human rheumatics/gout. Anyway just wondered if I would need to withdraw eggs from hens even though I haven't treated them if the cockerel was treading them and fertilising eggs?
Don't want to poison anyone! Plan to do hens when they go off laying a bit although not really laying much at moment. Not sure if cockerel has scaly legs but been red on and off since I was given him last year. Seems a bit down at the moment and bottom scales look slightly enlarged. None of hens look affected. Going to splash out and get plastic housing rather than wood to see if it helps.
