Hi from the Haute-Vienne, FRANCE
« on: July 28, 2008, 01:48:17 pm »
Hi,

I just want to say a big hello to everyone out there, we live in France and grow just about any vegetable you can think of, we also keep chickens for eating, chickens for eggs and pigs "GOS", a mad goat and hopefully soon "if I can find one to buy" a Jersey cow for milk, all our animals live outdoors with shelter and are free range.

Regards

Hello, and welcome

I hope you get a cow, so you can tell us all about it. I love cows.

Hello and welcome, we are also in france but in the department of Mayenne.  We have recently bought a jersey cow who gave birth to a lovely calf 3 weeks ago and we also have a freesian cow to keep our jersey company. The jersey is a lovely cow with a superb temperament and we milk by hand which is very therapeutic.  Good luck in finding your cow.

Hello & Welcome  :)

I would love to have a Jersey Cow for the fresh milk & cream.....Mmmm Delicious  :cow:

I think I saw a advert a while ago on a totalfrance.com they were asking if anyone was interested in them as they were thinking of importing some or something like that! might be worth having a look

You'll have to let us know how you get on.
