I have four Bowmont ewes for sale later this summer, they are two one crop and two two crop.
These are sheep for the serious wool enthusiast, and although I spin, weave etc I have found that these do not quite fit with my sheep flock. My main interest had been to produce shetland crosses from them, but have found that with my tup they only produced male lambs...but no lambing problems, usually singles (one gimmer had twins though!) and they do not do well on wet ground conditions or very rich grass/clover grazing.
They are up-to-date with Heptavac, but no bluetongue.
They are with their lambs until the end of July, so would be available from August onwards.
