this is to all of you who kindly gave me some hope and encouragement!!!!!!!!!
the bloke was so nice, didnt make us feel uncomfortable at all, i think the the cupa beth made him helped!!!!!!!!!
the british saddlebacks behaved, had words with them last night ;)
ya he was happy with everything, paper work was short and sweet.
he didnt ask to see the feeds at all, i thought they like to see how and where you store it, maybe like animals
they themselves are all different on the day!!!!!!.
langdon ;D
once again thanks ;)
Langdon ;)

Oh WELL DONE Langdon!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

There you go - you can breathe again.  Hopefully you will not see him again.  Like I said, never seen anyone in all the time I have kept livestock .....but there again never been called for jury service.  Probably get an inspection and jury service on the same day now :D

My animal welfare people turned up when the pigs had already gone to slaughter, it was -20 with snow on the ground.  I also made him a nice cuppa and he chatted on for ages - didn't even go and see the pigs "accomodation" can't say I blame him really!  Glad it all went well.  I always find the things that you worry about most always turn out best (indeed, I often "try" to worry about some things I really want to go well LOL)
