I have 3/4 bag of ACS growers pellets FREE to someone who has a use for it.

All my birds are 26+ weeks old & are on layers pellets now, so if anyone would like the feed, they're more than welcome to it.

Made by Carrs Billington & is in date til Feb 2011

Almost forgot, i'm in NW Fife

All mine will have what's left of the chick crumbs as a mash if thsi snow stays much longer. And they'll be back to drinking melted snow as well if the pipes don't defrost - that's 16 days now

I agree with the others, Dave, don't chuck it. Just mix it with layers pellets, mixed corn or wild bird feed - it will get eaten especially now as we had more snow...  :P  :&>

can you give ACS feed to layers?  Is there not a withdrawal period?

Why, what's in it?

A drug (poss Paracox) to combat Coccidiosis in younger birds, but if you feed it to hens that have been treated with anti-Coccidiosis drugs, it cancels this out ... or so i read.

oops, sorry, Dave, never used them myself. Mine always go from chick crumbs straight to wheat and then layers as soon as they run about with the mums and dad... :&>

Ok, I won't want it then - can't give that stuff to ducks and all my birds eat the same food.
