There's a pig-keeping course at the Butts Farm near Cirencester, Glos on Sun 13th June. It's pretty comprehensive dealing with the legal requirements, fencing, housing, feed, water etc. the needs of pigs for finishing and pigs for breeding. It covers pedigree matters and how to market a) your pigs and b) your meat.

It is run by Judy Hancox of the Butts Farm (Glos Old Spots & Kune Kunes) and Richard Lutwyche, author of 'Pig Keeping' just published by the National Trust. All delegates will receive a copy of the book and a light lunch is included. Cost is £70 per delegate.

Access is just off the A417/A419 roughly midway between the M4 & M5 and is easy to get to with parking etc.
