HI,i am so glad to have found this site, sounds like a nice informative site,am in derbyshire,i keep chickens, various sizes, breeds, who are free range, when the fox decides to keep away,Also have trad coloured cobs,a rottie girl, few rabbits, and not forgetting the farm cats. Also planning an allotment for next year to grow veg,etc for ourselves and family members,am sick of buying tasteless food from the supermarkets.have always been involved in farming and grew up on a dairy farm.anyway think that covers most of what i am about, sorry so long,LOL. ;D

Hello and welcome!  Quite a few of us Derbyshire folk on here now .....although I seem to be the only one in North Derbys.  Which area are you in?

We have a large free range flock of hens - lots of ex batts as I am involved in their rescue.  22 goats of various breeds, 10 ponies, mainly pure bred Dales and Fells, sheep, llama, plenty of farm cats and dogs.  No longer keep cows due to the TB problems in our area, which is sad.
