Wanted please, manure, forfar
« on: September 02, 2016, 09:37:10 am »
Hi there, we are not really smallholders but have a fairly large vegetable garden and a polytunnel which keeps us in veg for quite a lot of the year. At the moment we're using comfrey liquid (hold your nose!) , dried seaweed meal and grazing rye for fertility but would appreciate some manure if anyone has spare. Thanks for reading this.

We're in Carnoustie and have a great deal of manure in various stages of decomposition that you're very welcome to. There's trailer access if you want a load.  :)

Hi we are between Finavon & Tannadice just north of Forfar, could give you some manure from our hens, ducks and Donkeys if you are interested.

Hi
We are in Tealing and have well rotted horse manure.  We have been providing allotments and giving gardens manure for the past two years and have not had any complaints.
Just off the main Forfar road from Dundee to Aberdeen about five miles north of Dundee.
Let me know if you are interested.

To everyone who offered us manure, thanks a lot.
Sorry it has taken so long to reply but didn't realise replies came through the forum and have just taken a look there.
As soon as I have worked out how to do this I will respond to everyone.
Thanks again, much appreciated.

Hi Lily, thought you could also get compost for free from the council in Forfar

Thanks

Thanks Andrew,
Yes, we have been doing that and it's really useful as a soil conditioner and much, also good for seedlings as weed free, but lacking in nutrients. Hence our request for manure and pleased to say we have been offered some. Thoughtful of you to let us know about the council compost though, thanks again.

Hello,

I know this is quite a while ago, but I will give it a try anyway. Is someone from here still offering some manure in Angus area? We currently moved to a new house and started with our small garden project and we need some manure for the soil.

Thanks a lot!
