Hi everybody,

I have now nearly finished my pig keeping experience and because it was a joint effort with my best mate, we agreed to keep an expenses record so we get an understanding of all the costs and actually how many pigs you need to keep/sell so you get one for yourself? i am now at the stage where that is all done and all the sales are in.

now i am wondering if anyone who is considering doing this would be interested in some honest costs before embarking. i remeber when we started i was always asking these sorts of things!

Please do as I have not kept any record of costs on any that I have done, prefering just to ignore that part.I know that sticking my head in the sand is not a good plan so have vowed not to do it this time. :pig: :'(

I would love to see them.

I've not had my sheep long enough to have any income from them.

I may not have all kept the details of every expense, but I'm planning on working out roughly what I get back (if anything) after a year or two.

Yes I would like to see these too; although knowing it will not be a moneymaking operation for us, it would be interesting to see the cost of this number of pigs;
Thanks,
Simon

Yes please.  I am pretty sure I overfed my pigs in the spring and should have sold them for more than i did!

Ok another thought - i have two versions of expenses template, one is a very basic Expenses/Sales the other i did for my wife which is a monthly account and gives a year end total.

I am really happy doing this so i may just upload them and get everyones feedback if i need to edit it in anyway?? How does that sound?  :pig: :wave:
