our chicks are now 4wks old and quite big and with almost all of their true feathers we were
wondering if we can put them outside in a hutch?

That will be fine, remember they are out from day 1 with Mum,

we've put ours outside this weekend Langdon
its been so hot, and they have loved it!
we cut down the heat from the lamp weekly, then as the weather got warmer, tunred it off all day
the smallest of the bantams still have a few yellow fluffy bits - but were getting very boisterous inside!

My leghorns are like that too

One of them goes to sleep on top of the elec hen
