A just laid duck egg, poached, on a piece of toast spread with good butter  must be one of the best dishes in the world!
Was fresh homemade bread toasted with decent butter but fried not poached. Will def try poached ;D

Update on the eggs
All 3 are laying daily but one is laying a jelly egg every day it actually laid two eggs today. Was keeping an eye on them as they lay every 24 hours to try and find which one was laying the jelly egg and literally to the minute she laid but a few hours later laid another also a jelly. Is this normal?

Not sure jelly eggs regularly is good,  which comes first if she lays two in a day?  Perhaps there is a duck forum where you could ask.  They might have more specific knowledge than on here.

There's a duck section on the poultry forum

I'm not 100% sure the second egg came from the same duck now as only one egg this morning instead of the normal  two!
The one laying the jelly eggs is due to lay in the next hour as she is laying almost to the minute every day so far. Will go and watch her
If the second jelly egg came from a duck that had laid already I can understand that her calcium probably hadn't built up enough from the last egg

Thanks for the links. Hopefully they should sort themselves out. Only one egg today from the three ducks. See what tomorrow brings
