and quite resonably priced too! Sadly I am allergic to wool :(

But not when it's attached to a sheep?  ???

Rosemary - I love it that you've taken the initiative to have your fleece commercially spun. I think you're right - it's a luxury market, and people want to buy the story of where the wool came from, as much as the garments themselves. I'm sure this will go from strength to strength, so well done for taking the risk and going for it .

Actually I have a habit of coming out in rashes after handling sheep, but it seems worse somehow when wearing it on my skin ???

Could be the lanolin, wbf.
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

I can see why you love them, Rosemary. I suspect you would in any case but being made from superior wool makes them even more special.

they are great - do you make them?  Or are they from your Ryelands?  Sorry if I've missed something here!

It's yarn from our Coloured Ryelands www.rosedeanryelands.co.uk but knitted by Moira https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/452370452/ladies-luxurious-ryeland-sheep-100-wool?ref=shop_home_active_3
