Stumbled on this little lady on the hill this afternoon.  The sheep are not disturbing her but I think the buzzards and crows will make short work of any chicks :( .

Still a lovely find on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Well she made it!  From 9 eggs, 8 have successfully hatched :excited: .  I was worried the tractors might be too close to her yesterday (baling hay), but this afternoon I saw her and a couple of chicks cheeping nearby in long grass at the field corner :) .
