That's a bit warm. It was 27.5C here but not in the full sun.

Sounds like the Uk is having what we usually have here in France. It's been cold and very wet here for the last month. This day last year we took the train to Paris and got stuck there as it was so hot that the railways deformed. The station at Versailles was closed and we had a 30 minute walk to a station and track that worked.  The mainline trains into Paris were all delayed and we finally got a train only for it to breakdown at Orleans. Windows on new trains do not open!,,
Enjoy the sun in the uk - I am now off to put on dry clothes and socks.

Apparently we were to have storms and rain today. We did have about half an hour of rain but no storm although I gather other places did have. The temp was 24.5C so lower than yesterday but quite muggy. I enjoy a good storm and the freshness that is afterwards.

we had about 25c according to the car in northampton yesterday.  It went really muggy and close before the thunderstorm.
Surely I can't be the only person who forgot to close the car window all the way.  That's my excuse for the damp trousers this morning anyway.
If you cant beat 'em then at least bugger 'em about a bit.

Hail stones storm flattened gardens and broke slates on roofs just 5 km from me. Photo of hail stones showed 3 filling a mans hand.
Hope you all miss the storms.
