Angus Yarn Co-operative
« on: June 06, 2016, 11:07:55 am »
Fired up by finally getting fleece processed into yarn, I am on a mission to encourage other small sheep keepers to do likewise and what I am thinking is an Angus Yarn Co-operative for small sheep keepers in Angus to work together to promote and sell our product.

First I need to find small sheep keepers in Angus and see if anyone else thinks its a good idea.

I need to get on with the Smallholder Festival first but any thoughts on the initial idea woudl be welcome; how to contact other folk who might be interested; experience of setting up and running a co-operative.

All helpful suggestions welcome.

Advantages - the smallest stand at Woolfest is £120. I couldn't justify that for the small amounts we have but if there was agroup of us....
