Old Bale
« on: May 08, 2010, 05:20:55 am »
Please advise - I have an old bale in one of the paddocks - it's rotted down to a quarter of it's size and I think mice are living in it as we often see owls sitting on it or the 'signs' of owls. Now I have just got 3 Jacobs and their lambs and was wondering if it would poison them - I've seen the lambs playing on it and I', sure I saw one having a wee nibble - should I remove it totally or leave it for them to play on - don't want to make them sick - thank you

If it is rotten I would remove it, lambs have even fewer brain sells than their mothers  ;D
