Wonderful memories.

Never , when I logged in ,did I thinkI would have a tear in my eye either,  mojo 
pygmy goats, gsd, border collie, scots dumpys, cochins, araucanas, shetland ducks and geese,  marrans, and pea fowl in a pear tree.

I adopted 'gowkstorm' as my twitter name after reading Nancy Brysson Morrison's magical novel which is peppered with old Scots words.

Looks lovely, not far from where I used to live, similar house but obviously extended kitchen etc?

Happy memories from this Aberdonian too - Aberdeen born, brought up, married in town, moved to Ellon when the kids were teenagers, then to Old Rayne with second husband after the first died.  Often been by that area, wish you well in selling.

Sorry, I know this is off topic, but whenever I see the name Ellon, we lived in New Deer, friends were coming up to visit, asked directions in Ellon and were told, 'just up the way a bit', they were a bit surprised that that meant 15miles LOL.
