Lambs and water

Sorry this sounds a silly question. My 3 lambs are still housed with mums and feeding well. I make sure ewes drinking water not a danger to lambs but wonder at what age the lambs must get access to water when still feeding from mum. They nibble at hay and eat 1 or 2 ewe nuts  thanks  ???

Why are they housed?
Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Mine have access to water from day one.  They play with it first but are drinking by about a week old, not much at that age but as they start to eat dry feed they drink more.

Thank you Buttermilk sounds like good sense. Only still housed as weather so wet, water still lying on the field. Foxes and buzzards numerous in our area also. Thanks
