My toddler loves animals and so do I!  He's used to the goats, dogs, cat, sometimes meets sheep and neighbours horses. We went to see a friend's pet Shetlands (unbroken) and he loved them! Scratching and stroking them and feeding them carrots.
He also kept saying "up up! Up up, Mummy!" Wanting to sit on them!  I'd like to give him the chance to have a go. I started riding at 2 but I've read that riding centres won't take them till they're about 4 or 5 and obviously I don't want to go buying or loaning a pony at this stage! Although we do have spare grass so it's an option for the future.

Wondered if anyone has a quiet, friendly pony that we could visit and he could maybe have a sit on if he's keen please? I grew up with ponies, bit out of touch now though.

We grow carrots, so can bring a bag and some eggs as a thank you! I'm between Forfar and Montrose, but would anywhere in Angus or bit further afield would be great!  Thanks for reading x
