Do we have any Cornish TASers? :(
« on: March 30, 2016, 07:58:58 am »
I foster dogs and my former foster dog Ray (now Bryn) has done a bunk from his perfect home near St Ives (on a farm with an aga no less!) having caught the scent of some badgers.

He is blind.

Searching has been going on for a week.  There was one possible sighting the day after he ran away.

Obviously he is on doglost, with the dogwarden, on lost box, has been on the radio, a drone has been out, he has his own facebook page, searches have been organised, k9 unit has been told..... (I am getting fed up of people asking "is he on dog lost!).

Questions
a. Does anyone know anyone with a thermal imaging drone (I've contacted a couple of companies that I googled but they never came back to me).
b. K9searchers who have bloodhounds came back and said they needed a scent of less than 24 hours.  There is a group called k9trackers who have beagles and people keep saying she can work off a scent of up to 10 days old.... I've been trying to get hold of her for 4 days but she doesn't respond to messages on her website or phone and her phone doesn't take calls.  Given she is a volunteer she may just be on holiday.... does 10 days seem plausible?  it isn't a claim made on her website.

Any other brilliant ideas.  I am dismissing the various people who have contacted me saying they have had visions he is in a barn, in a ditch, has been taken by a man in a lorry and.... best one yet, is trying to get back to Bulgaria..... gggrrrrrr

I have been going slowly mad with worry.....

Oh dear, that's not good. Hope he's found alive and well.  :fc:

Sorry Kitchen Cottage not to see this post before - though I have followed the adventures of Bryn via the PirateFM posts on Facebook and am very glad to hear he is back home safe and sound  :excited:
