poorly chicks

I have lost a couple of black minorcas recently which became ill and never recovered. They were about 9 weeks old and became lethargic and easy to catch. sleeping quite a lot thro the day and not eating or drinking much. They had a bubbly clear discharge from their beaks along with a cloudy matter in their eyes, sometimes unable to open them. Has anyone any ideas as to the cause and treatment? Thanks. P.S. i had treated them with something for coccidiosis which i thought they had but this did not seem to help.

They don’t join cliques — more times than not, they stand alone — but they recognize and gravitate towards one another. Only warriors understand other warriors.
