I just stumbled onto this site and i think it fits me well. I have no land of my own but i have been keeping my Chickens Geese and Norfolk Black Turkey at my father-in-laws now for some time, and me and a friend have just taken on some more land at my friends mother-in-laws, for us to keep out first pair of pigs (saddlebacks)which we pick up this weekend.This is something i have been wanting to do for many years and i hope it is just the start. Any advice anyone has i would greatly appreciate.

read through the pig and poultry sections when you've a few hours (!) there may already be answers to questions you didn't know you had!

Hi and welcome from Australia. We have pigs, they love wallows, food, clean water, food, belly rubs, food oh and did I mention food. Seriously if their shelters are warm and clean, they are wormed and they have a wallow to cool down in they are literally as happy as pigs in mud. Some can be dominant and want to fight so it is always a good idea to introduce new pigs on the other side of a fence. As everyone else has said read through the pig section lots of good advice.

Hi there where in norfolk are you, im from dereham i have 30 acres 12 sows a boar. some rabbits and geese and a few bantams. a small holding that got out of control if i can help at all get in touch
