Dogs have an extremely high tolerance to salmonella. They can after all go out and eat a minging dead bird that's been in the park for two days with no ill effects.........hands up all Lab/Retriever owners whose dogs have done this...... :D :D


My terriers are the same! they will eat anything no matter how old it is! its cringeyworthy wot they find!  :-[  they have mainly a raw meat died anyway so dont really get upset tummys, altho one ate a frog/toad once and was quite poorly
