I have just moved my few sheep off their old and quite worn out pasture. I have also treated them for worms as i suspected one as having worms. I wormed the sheep and then moved them a few days later. I am proposing to move my hens onto the area that the sheep were- does anybody see anything rong with this- from a worm point of view? Main reason is that the sheep just walk through the electric poultry wire that i have up and often get tangled in it

Worms are host specific - sheep worms won't infect hens and vice versa.

My hens roam happily with my 3 lambs with no problems, if anything the hens rule the field.

Hi,

All I will add is that if keeping hens with sheep dont feed the hens poultry feed that contains copper (most do) as if the sheep eat it they may decide to die on you.
