Partridge Pekin Bantam's
« on: June 27, 2008, 06:25:16 pm »
I have 2 six week old partridge pekin bantam chicks (Both Boys) that are looking for a new home.

Unfortunately I cant keep cockerels due to the close proximity of neighbours.

They are both lovely and tame, like to perch on your hand/arm.

If you would like to offer a home to either both or one of my wee boys then please get in touch.

I dont mind keeping them for a few weeks to bring them on a bit or until they start crowing.
I have attached a picture below of them (taken today).

Why don't you live in France! We have been looking for 2 males for a year now - one for us one for Carole also on this site.

We both have two set of girls with no man in their lives!

If there is anyone from France reading this post and have any please get in touch!

Good luck with finding homes Townie!

What is the score, exactly, with bringing chickens over? Carly comes over at least once a month and I'm sure we could fit a couple of bantams in a cat carrier. The only problem is,Carly is in Portsmouth and works very long hours,so there's no real possibility of her getting out to pick any up..........any ideas? ....... Ree
They don’t join cliques — more times than not, they stand alone — but they recognize and gravitate towards one another. Only warriors understand other warriors.

There is a thread on Angloinfo Normandy re bringing chickens over from UK.

It isn't difficult, just health checks etc - still a shame these chooks are in Scotland though!

It would be interesting to know if there are any serious breeders of fancy chooks in the Portsmouth/Southampton area though. We visit the childrens a few times a year so anything is possible?
